The actual stainless anchor itself is great, but a few things need improvement:
1. The grips are a cheap foam and fail quickly. I would much rather have a harder material that lasts than cheap foam that splits and fails quickly, but all-in-all it's not going to prevent you from using the anchors.
2. The storage bags are cheap. One arrived with a hole in it and the other failed right behind it. This is a safety concern in my opinion because the anchor rip through the bottom of the bag and stab someone's foot. This needs to be addressed ASAP.
3. Only 1 carabiner included per anchor. This is problematic because not all boats have cleats or something that you can loop the non-carabiner end onto. It would be nice if more were included, but that's not going to happen so I would recommend buying a couple if you think you'll need them.
4. Be mindful when anchoring at sandbars where water is deeper than 36". If you anchor it before you attach the bungee and walk away from it, there's a good chance you'll lose it and have to walk around until you run into it. Also, be sure to anchor it away from where people might be jumping or playing in the water so they don't land on it. All that to say, it would be nice if these were coated with a bright orange powder coat or something comparable for hi-visibility.
Do they work? Yes they do, usually. If you're in water where there might be regular wake and you have a larger heavier boat, make sure you anchor them very deep, especially in softer sands (takes a while). The boat will pull these right out of the ground and it'll be going for a ride (even when they're pretty deep). I initially bought these thinking they'd hold the boat better than a standard anchor and they do to an extent, but it's all conditional. Think about where you like to anchor normally, think about the depth of the water (are you going to be under water installing them?), think about how much wake is in the area, how heavy is your boat, etc.
Do I like them? Yes, but a standard anchor is much easier to adjust and reposition a boat when it does move. When these pull out of the ground, it's a whole ordeal. You have to disconnect it from the boat and reset it (boat is just floating away), so take the extra time to install them deeper than you'd think you'd need them to be. That brings me to my final request:
5. Make the corkscrew blade diameter larger for stronger hold.
