Second roll of PEX LINE
anvil decent for the most part got a bunch of chips and the round hole is unusable but that second statement anyone can tell by looking at the thing so I'm telling you nothing new. What might be of use however that my 60kg anvil the drivers refused to deliver for over a week then attempted to return to sending stating I refused it (I did not) I called and waited 4 days for call backs but no answer so I went to the depo where the tracking said it was (waiting for return). Due to its weight they would of never attempted to deliver it (because its unweight to not need pallet to get to the depo but to heavy to be delivered by one person on a ups van? go figure that one out cause I cant.) However due to its weight the return also would of took abnormally long which is why I was still able to pick it up. So Once it is at your local depo I recommend just going to pick it up in person don't bother with the customer service they wont help and the "refused the package" I think is their attempt to get out of contract by blaming the purchaser. (this isn't why I rated it 4 stars that's just the finish of the forge scale and chip marks meaning it needs about 2-4 hours of good clean up)

Fantastic!!!!
Cracking bit of kit, nice weight to it, perfect securing points/holes to bolt it down and easy access to these points. Just need to find the right sized accessories that fit into the ⬛ hole in the anvil

Excellent piece of kit. I use it for leather work and the flat point is especially useful for riveting belt strap keepers.

Good value
Excellent little anvil for the money. Hardy hole needed a bit of tidying up as the casting there was a little rough, but it only took a few minutes.

Nice starter anvil
I received this item and have recently been able to set it up in my shop. You can see in the picture, that I had not peeled the protective paper off the top of the anvil face. I will start by saying I am happy with the anvil. After peeling off the paper, it does have a scratch on the face of the anvil at one corner, but so far it has not caused me any issues. I have used the anvil to make one knife so far and it held up well. I am a beginner knifemaker, but so far, I am enjoying using it and am happy with the purchase.

Decent for the cost
I have seen worse and better quality anvils.1- There was some flashing I had to cut off on the underside of the horn, no surprise, I had planed to clean off the epoxy coating and slightly reshape the horn anyway. No big deal.2-Upon cutting and flap disking the chunk off I realized the color of the sparks determined it is cast with high carbon steel, using the spark test method.2-Be careful of the epoxy coating, as I'm sure it is very toxic, wear a respirator if grinding.3-There was some fine cast pitting on the horn mainly surface, I'm sure the coatings purpose is to cover these flaws. no big deal. see pic.4-The face is flawless and the hardy hole is square and center.5-the dimensions shown in the manufactures description pictures are way off, see pic.6-as for the hardness of the face, time will tell, if used correctly it should be O.K.not too bad overall for beginners utilizing for small projects, you get what you pay for. Made in China....of course.conclusion: WE NEED TO BRING BACK ALL MANUFACTURING TO NORTH AMERICA,
