not bad little light in thickness and would not stop determined thief but then again not much would its a deterrentif it was 155 thick you could still grind through it

Neat if you need some more flexible lock compared to a standard U lock. It's quite hefty and solid. had it now for a few months and it's exposed to the worst of all weathers. No rusting so far at all and the lock opens/closes as smooth as on the first day.

Got this to help secure bicycles at home, really reasonable price and a sturdy lock and chain. Very heavy for its size and the locking mechanism is really smooth. I would definitely purchase this again if I needed to, I suspect I won't however as it seems very durable.You need the key to both lock and unlock the padlock, which isn't a bother, but something to be aware of. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

We bought these gold standard locks as stipulated by our insurance company for our bikes. The quality is excellent but they are extremely heavy to cycle around with.

In paranoia following people only knocking on the doors of those with caravans, I decided to add a bit more on top of the other locks already in place.This lock / chain fits through the wheels and chassis of our twin axle. It's nice having the sleeve around the chain as less risk of it scratching things. No doubt with the right tools it can be removed, but every little helps, and isn't too hard to fit and gives peace of mind.

Have to put wd40 in to the lock getting stuck

I use this to secure my bikes with ground anchors at my house.This gives confidence that it is very secure - I feel my bikes are safe when this is around them! That's the important part. The sleeve is also gentle on carbon frames giving additional piece of mind.

Be aware, its heavy. However, I don't regret having it at all. Its gold rated sold secure, sturdy, long, easy to use. The only thing I miss is having a code to make copies of the keys
