I've seen drums that are priced at three times the cost. This one looks and sounds terrific.

I really like the soothing sounds it makes. I have started doing a time of music therapy/ devotional every day this is one of 3 instruments I use. Each instrument has a purpose, but it's all to fight the effects of chronic pain. It took me a bit to place the musical notes to the numbers but once I had that figured out I have learned over a dozen songs in the short time I have had it. It's also fun to play. I have been exploring in my music books what I can play on it.

I have more expensive drums, and while I love them all, this remains my favorite. Such a soft, soothing sound, reminds me of the wooden tongue drums. Super easy to play.

I_e tried several tongue drums and this is by far the best. I am pleased with its quality and aesthetics. First, all 14 notes are in perfect tune and playable in all octaves. Second, the tone is more _ooden than metallic, so the vibrations from discordant notes don_ compete with each other. Third, the drum is tuned to C major, which is a convenient key for a variety of music styles. Fourth, the decorative rope weaving around the drum is tightly woven and secure, so it won_ fall off as it has on other drums I_e tried. Finally, the drum is beautifully designed. All in all, I highly recommend this drum; it will reward you with hours of pleasure each time you play it.
