My product arrived defective- The magnet wouldn’t engage. I contacted the seller and they sent another one out but by the time it arrived it had been about a month since I placed the order. The new one works well. As long as you don’t get a defective unit, I do recommend this product.

These work great in our shop, we handle various sizes of plate. The work very well on materials 3/16 and greater thick. The thinner stuff be careful.

I use these to move smaller sheets of 1/4" and 3/8" sheet metal on and off of my CNC plasma table with my cherry picker.

When my magnets arrived in torn & dirty cardboard boxes, my first reaction was that these were junk and that I would be returning them immediately. However, I went ahead and cleaned them up and tried them out - and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they really work. I’ve only used them on a chain hoist to position pieces on a couple of projects, they did the job with no problem. I don’t think that I would trust them to meet the outer limits of their holding capacity, they seem to be a good value for routine tasks.

I was skeptical about the quality of these magnets because of their low price. But I’m extremely happy with their performance and will be buying more.

The magnet works, it lifts steel, but your conditions need to be absolutely perfect to achieve the full 1200 lb capacity. I was going to use this to lift cutting edges for scrapers, but the steel needs to be 40mm thick to achieve the full 1200lb capacity. Center edges on a 637 weigh about 450 lbs each and it won't hold because the material isnt 40mm+ thick.

I’m a structural steel fabricator. I bought this so I wouldn’t have to walk around the shop looking for the shop magnet. It’s rated for 1300 lbs and so far I’ve used it on pieces of steel up to 1200 lbs and it works great! No problems. Thank god, cause have I purchased I seen there was a no return policy. Happy customer
