Hard to understand instructions, a bit confusing. However, it was an easy installation once I ignored instructions. Device works great. If you're ahandyman/women you can also figure this out for a fairly easy install.

this replaced an emergency "Alarm will sound" exit. The door can now be opened from the outside, and can be set to latch so the wind does not open it.
