I bought this to protect and hide electrical circuits feeding the extension of the house. It's a perfect choice for this being a sturdy lockable metal box of perfect dimensions for holding junctions or other circuitry. It fits solidly high up on a wall well out of reach and used to feed lighting and power circuits to the rear of the house. It would hold other electronics such as lighting effects or other circuits you want hidden safely away. Great value.
