The turbine is exactly as described, fitted mine on my boat, it is literally redy to go straight from the box. Assembling is like 10min and the connection and adjustment extremely simple. Used a individual charging controler either.

Its just what i need has im homeless no power to plug into before but now great.

Wind turbine looks like quality kit fitting it on camper so I've got all year round power looking forward to fitting it fingers crossed

Construction of the unit seems good with an aluminum housing and a good weight to it. I had some issues with the unit and worked through them with the company. A+ for customer relations.

This attractively designed generator was bought to fit on a 9-metre catamaran to charge the batteries. Although quite a heavy unit, it has a quality feel that should withstand the elements and have a long and productive life.

This generator in combination with a battery lights our two corridors most of the time. In moderate wind the light is bright, in high wind very bright and charges 2x 10.8 volt batteries. When there is no wind the batteries supply enough light for LED strips all day and all night but not so bright as when there is wind. The charge lasts about 2 days but the LEDS still glow enough to use as a night light in the corridors for another 3 days if there is no wind. The assembly instructions were generally good but omitted an important step in tightening the generator into the housing resulting in it falling out in use. Was able to repair and it has been fine for 9 months so far.

From my limited experience with these wind generators, looking at the market place and comparing to other manufacturers these generators are produced on a budget. Only having a front end bearing to support the rotor instead of having 2no front and back, all the load forces are concentrated on the the front bearing. It goes without saying that this set up cant last that long without a strip down for either a shaft or replacement bearing before too long. However if your looking for a inexpensive solution and your prepared to spend a little time to maintain them raguly, they offer reasonable value for a low power return. Also if you live in a built-up arear surrounded by trees and tall buildings the continues winds required to run these little chaps isn't there. Open spaces will produce a far better result with a lot less wind turbulence.

is almost how much is writing on the product. in the wind i can obtain maxim almost 3A. i don't have time to fix it but next week i fix on my roof and i put some pictures with proof.

Sold on Never needed in the end And never heard back from the buyers so they must of been ok After all eBay is very fussy

I have not yet had the time to install my wind turbine because mine isn’t going to be used for a home or a boat setup. Mine is going to be installed on a 25yr old Toyota hiace campervan. So I have many obstacles to over come before I can actually see this turbine in action. Upon inspection everything looks fantastic. Very well made durable strong turbine casing and the blades feel like they can take a beating. The charge controller looks very simple to install to. The instructions are pretty much useless. Also doesn’t indicate the correct gauge if wire to use. The correct gauge if pole to use for your turnine. So unfortunately you are left to figure it all out for yourself. Not so great when this thing weighs 6.5kg. If that falls out the sky and hits me my van or a kid. Well we’re gunna be meeting jesus pretty soon lol so if you buy this ...even if your using on a home or boat. Make sure you know what you’re getting yourself in for. Do your research first. This isn’t for everyone. Solar is most peoples best option. I would give this turbine a 9 out if 10 for looks and for the way it’s been built. I’ll update with more info soo.
