I bought this - although not sold for this use to ensure my dog could get to the beach with me for our walks, I popped her in the net as she was only 6kgs but then used the bottom shelf as it was more stable. I could also take my drinks and chair, and if my other little dog got tired she could hitch a ride too. I also love the fact I can use this to take my swim gear/dog/chair and picnic to the beach - great buy and glad I found this!
